Established in fall of 2004, Creyr Publishing, Inc. is a small independent publishing company in Eureka, California.  The mission of Creyr Publishing, Inc. is to work with local authors, artists, and businesses to publish, promote, and offer original works that reflect the culture, history, natural beauty, and uniqueness of the North Coast.  We hope you enjoy the works we offer and through these works you are encouraged to visit this wonderful area. 

This area is known for its rich culture, beautiful coastline, majestic redwood trees, and abundant wildlife.  Among the natural inhabitants of this area stands the Great Blue Heron.  Native American story tellers from this region tell us that "brother heron" is the keeper of stories.  Local residents of Irish, Scottish, and Welsh heritage may also tell you that the heron is an important figure in Celtic mythology and legend.  The Celtic word for heron is "Creyr".
